Dr. Rosemary Hernandez, PhD, LPC-S, NCC, CCMHC
Dr. Rosemary Hernandez is a therapist specializing in trauma, military families, first responders and law enforcement officers where she maintains a private practice in San Antonio, Texas.
She is also an Air Force Veteran who is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of military culture and navigating the Veteran Administration system. She is very direct in her approach in helping others, although her approach is unique, she is often told her style is much appreciated, especially with the population she serves.
Dr. Hernandez also enjoys working with children and teens. She has a way with words to make children and teens feel comfortable and safe to discuss their concerns. She is a huge advocate for children especially for those who are children of military and law enforcement families.
Through "play" play therapy to be precise, she is able to help children find direction and healing.
When she is not helping others, she enjoys spending time with her family, running marathons, traveling and reading.
